President's Report

Greetings NACE Members!

As you know, L.T. Beaton normally sends out the President’s Report, but she is taking some time off this week (she deserves it!) so it is my pleasure to help out. I just wanted to take a moment to tell you about a couple of incredible NACE Events coming up that you won’t want to miss.

If you were to only attend one meeting the entire year (you better attend more than one!), our very special May event at Silver Creek Valley Country Club in San Jose on May 18, 2010 is definitely one to consider. Wow, that’s next week! This event will be HUGE and will feature a celebrity panel: Sasha Souza, of Sasha Souza Events; videographer Andrew Hsu, of Studio MSV; baker Jen Kwapinski, of Jen's Cakes; and photographer Brook Todd, of Alisha + Brook Photographers. Learn more about Destination Weddings and High End Celebrations. The panel will also discuss current and future trends, marketing, and much more. You only have a few days left to register so do it now at http://siliconvalleynace.org

In June, Health and Wellness expert Pat Helin will speak on the mind-body connection and reducing stress. This will be a wonderful meeting focusing on health at The Ranch Golf Club in San Jose on June 15, 2010.  Meet other experts in the field; all focused on wellness and helping you to be your best. Everyone attending that evening will receive a free massage! RSVP now at http://siliconvalleynace.org/meetinginfo.php?id=17

Time is running out! Our Spring Membership Campaign ends on May 21, 2010! New Members (or members who have lapsed 1 year) can receive $100 off the membership fee. There has never been a better time to join the Silicon Valley Chapter of NACE. Our membership is growing with every month that passes, and the events are getting bigger and better! Join now and save! Please contact Dave Ethridge at 408-836-9440 for more information.

I look forward to seeing you on May 18th at Silver Creek Valley Country Club. Until then…have a wonderful, positive, and fruitful week!

Sincerely,

Rich Amooi
