| HAPPY NEW YEAR, NACE FRIENDS!!!!!
We held our annual Gala at the Tech Museum and what a
fabulous night it was!!!
Congratulations again to all the best of the industry and
board recognition award winners!
Your 2013 Board of Directors was sworn in! Please
welcome Diana Cardenas as our new Secretary and
Teri Schenkel as our new Treasurer!
At our board retreat we focused on bringing fun and
exciting events to the calendar year!
We have an exciting year planned ahead! Our next
event will be held at the Blush Raw Bar, Downtown San
Jose’s newest hot spot! It will take place on February 20
from 7-9pm. Please come out for a night of awesome
sushi, cocktails, and pure networking
This year we will host two meetings in the Tri Valley area,
The Purple Orchid Inn in March and Wente Winery in
June. You won’t want to miss these events!
Our goal is to plan out our events six months in advance,
so that you can see what is upcoming to make your
plans on attending.
We also want to hear from you! Please let us know what
you would like to see at our meetings. Suggestions on
venues and speakers are welcomed.
Please complete the surveys we sent out to you after
each meeting. We read them all, and take all feedback
good and bad into consideration. You can also email any
one of your board members for feedback

| What a night at our "Gala", at the San Jose Museum of
Innovation! Great networking all evening -- cocktails and
appetizers, fabulous dinner, presenting our annual "Best
of the Indutry" awards, inducting our new Board of
Directors, and our exciting raffle.
We hope you found this evening informative as well as
enjoyable, and we hope you'll join us again next month at

Thur, March 4, 2010: San Jose Hilton, San Jose Email marketing expert Stu Carty presented a special 2-hour workshop on "Best Practices", FREE to Silicon Valley NACE members.
